Explained: Why NMC shut down the MBBS course at Vaishno Devi medical college in J&K

The National Medical Commission withdrew approval for the MBBS course at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence after a surprise inspection found serious deficiencies in faculty, infrastructure and clinical exposure.
